BISON 50 STAIRLIFT
The Bison 50 gives us a totally different type of product to offer. The stairlift track is a narrow upright version, which some customers prefer to see on their staircase. It comes with a high back seat, which is adjustable and comes in a choice of different colours. The Bison 50 runs on a 24v DC maintenance free power pack, which is also re-charged when it is parked.
FEATURES
CONTROL SWITCH - the stairlift is operated by a rocker switch, which is fitted on the top of the armrest and can be fitted on either side (left or right).
SWIVEL SEAT - the seat can be turned at the top of the stairs to 45 degrees or 80 degrees manually. If the user is restricted in mobility or would find it difficult to turn the seat manually, at an extra cost, a powered swivel seat can be purchased. The seat cushions come in six different colours and the seat height can be adjusted to the customer's requirements.
PRESSURE SENSATIVE EDGE SENSORS - the Bison 50 has seven pressure sensitive edge sensors (P.S.E.S) in comparison most other stairlift companies have five. In the event of an obstruction on the staircase the stairlift will stop immediately preventing any harm to the user or the stairlift.
FOLDING FOOT PLATE, SEAT & ARMRESTS - the footplate, seat and armrests fold away to allow plenty of room for other people to use the stairs.
REMOTE CONTROLS - All Bison 50 Stairlifts come with dual remote controls, especially necessary if more than one person in the household is using the lift.
EXTRA FEATURES
POWERED FOLDING HINGED TRACK - if the bottom of the staircase finishes in an open hallway or there is a doorway at the bottom of the stairs, a powered folding hinged track will be required. This is operated by the ground floor remote control.
